This notice adds to our Privacy Policy and covers how we use YouTube. Everything in the Privacy Policy still applies.
How we use YouTube
We use YouTube API Services to publish and manage videos on our YouTube channel, Noorns NuGen, and to read and reply to comments on those videos. Our use of YouTube is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of your information is described in the Google Privacy Policy. Anyone using a Noorns tool that relies on YouTube API Services agrees to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.
What we see when you comment
When you comment on one of our videos, we access the public information YouTube provides with that comment: your display name, a link to your channel, the comment text, when it was posted, and other replies in the same thread. We use it only to read and answer comments on our own videos.
Only the Noorns team can see it, in a private tool. We do not share it with anyone else, use it for advertising, or combine it with your order or account information.
How long we keep it
We keep it for no longer than 30 days unless we refresh it from YouTube. After that we delete it, keeping only our own reply.
Cookies, access and questions
Our use of YouTube API Services does not place cookies or similar technology on your device. If you have connected a Google account to a Noorns tool, you can revoke that access at any time on the Google security settings page at https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions.
