Inside the example

Where to start reading

The report is built in layers, so the useful part is in front of you in minutes.

Example report page: the Recommendations Summary, a ranked list of foods, nutrients and habits with a score beside each.
1

The Recommendations Summary

It comes a few pages in, after a short guide to using the report and a list of key terms. It's one ranked list of what to focus on and what to avoid, and each item has a score. The more of your genes that point to an item, the higher it ranks. Scores show you where to start, not a guarantee of results.

Example report page: the Conflicts list, each item shown with a Focus score and an Avoid score.
2

Then the Conflicts

These are items that show up under both Focus and Avoid, because different genes push in different directions. The report gives you both scores so you can see which side is stronger.

Example report page: the MTHFR gene page, explaining what the gene does in plain English.
3

The gene pages, when you want the why

Each gene gets its own plain-English page. They're there when you want to know why something made the list.

Example report page: the Appendix and References, with links to the published studies for each gene.
4

The research behind every link

Every gene and nutrient link in a Noorns report cites the study behind it, so you can check the science yourself.

What changes when it's your DNA

Your own report is ranked from your genes

The example was made from an example DNA file, so its list reflects that file's genes. When you run the report on your own file, the Recommendations Summary is ranked from your own variants. The items at the top, their scores and any conflicts are specific to you.

  • A raw DNA file you already have from 23andMe, Ancestry, MyHeritage or another DNA service. No new test needed.
  • 3 to 10 minutes. The report is built in your browser while you keep the tab open, and your DNA file is never uploaded or stored.
  • A PDF you save to your own device. You can get a refund within 14 days of purchase if you haven't accessed or started generating your report. If your file can't produce a report, we'll reset your run or refund you.
